Welcome to our 2026 May Capital Campaign.

On June 1, 2026, we will be celebrating 23 years of God’s faithfulness through Changing Gaits in Brook Park, Minnesota. Year after year, we continue to witness lives changed, hearts restored, and hope renewed through the healing power of horses and the love of Christ.

We cannot say THANK YOU enough for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support over the years. Because of you, we have been able to serve thousands of individuals through our Equine Therapy Programs, Sober Living House, support for those with disabilities, and recovery services for those battling addiction. Every story that walks through our gates matters, and every life touched reflects God’s grace at work.

This year, our focus is Grounds Maintenance—because the land itself is part of the healing. Our trails, pastures, and gathering spaces are where quiet breakthroughs happen. It’s where people breathe again. Where prayers are spoken. Where burdens begin to lift. To continue providing a safe, peaceful, and functional environment, we are working to restore and maintain the grounds across our property.

Our 2026 goal is to raise funds for:

  • Class 5 sand for trail restoration

  • Rent a skid loader with tracks for clearing and land work

  • Brush hog rental for maintaining overgrowth

  • Lumber, wire, and T-posts for fencing repairs and safety

  • New gates and structural improvements

  • Nails, paint, and tool rentals for fencing and property upkeep

  • Restoration and beautification of our prayer areas

  • Flowers, planters, and crosses throughout the property

  • Enhancements to the gated space surrounding our beloved Prayer Tree

Our Prayer Tree has become a sacred place on the ranch. It is where people lay down burdens, seek God, and find moments of stillness in the middle of life’s storms. This year, we want to intentionally honor and care for that space, so it continues to serve as a place of peace and connection.

Scripture reminds us:
“The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”
—Isaiah 58:11 (ESV)

That is our heart for this land—that it would remain a watered garden for those who come weary, broken, or searching. Maintaining these grounds is not just physical work, it is ministry. Every repaired fence, cleared trail, and restored space allows us to continue offering a place where God meets people right where they are.

Please prayerfully consider supporting our 2026 May Capital Campaign. Our goal is $7,777.00. If you know someone who has been impacted by Changing Gaits, or someone who would feel called to support this mission, we would be deeply grateful if you shared this message with them.

At the ranch, we often say, “many hands make light the work.” And after 23 years, we know this to be true. None of this happens without you.

God bless you and thank you for being part of what He is doing here.

With gratitude,
Guy Kaufman
